NWB has operational AI code actively running on some of its instruments doing noise reduction and cloud prediction.

We have had success using AI for cloud detection, precipitable water vapor prediction (PWV) both from historical data trends as well as instantaneous prediction from surface parameters.

NWB have done work on other classification problems as well such as weed detection in crops for site specific management.
